I'd rather be short than tall
Because I always win at hide and go seek
And I can squeeze to the front of any large crowd
And I always wear heels and I'm never taller than any boy
And I own a cute stool to reach the dishes on the top shelf
And I can see up people's noses and laugh at their boogers
And I always receive the hand me downs no matter how old I am
And I am the perfect size to wrap my arms around you and give you a hug

Before, I wanted to be someone different but now
I love who I am and I'd rather be me
Than anyone else
